A closer look at a Peugeot Siemens SID804 project on the SGTM bench: Stage 1 remapping + DPF software request, documented with original workshop photography.
ECU-specific support from Stourbridge, serving Birmingham and the West Midlands, with UK postal enquiries for compatible modules.

A focused ECU project, seen from the workshop bench. The supplied job brief is Stage 1 remapping with a DPF delete request; the photographs document the module and bench connections.

A suitable tuning file must match the ECU hardware, software and vehicle specification. An SID804 family name alone does not confirm a compatible calibration or the vehicle’s factory emissions equipment.
For a Peugeot HDi remap enquiry, send the registration or VIN, engine details and a clear ECU label photo. We can then assess the appropriate route through our Peugeot and Citroën programming services.
No measured power or torque figures are published for this project. Vehicle specification and final validation records are needed before quoting results.

Request a custom tuning file →The DPF element of this project is a software request, not confirmation that every SID804-equipped Peugeot has a factory DPF. The exact vehicle and emissions equipment must be identified.
Removing a factory-fitted DPF will almost invariably make a vehicle illegal for UK road use; a missing original DPF also causes an MOT failure. This case study is not a road-use approval or an MOT guarantee. For road vehicles, retain the emissions equipment and investigate faults through DPF diagnostics and repair guidance.
Read the official GOV.UK DPF guidance ↗There is no single figure for every SID804 vehicle. Engine specification, mechanical condition and calibration determine the outcome. This project has no published before-and-after dyno measurements, so we do not quote a proven gain.
No. Remapping changes engine calibration; cloning transfers relevant data to a compatible replacement ECU. See our separate SID804 ECU cloning and bench programming case study.
Include your vehicle model, year, engine, registration or VIN, ECU label photo, any fault codes and your intended use. Workshops should also provide the original read and hardware/software identifiers.
