Which ECU file information is required?
Send the vehicle make, model, year, engine, transmission, VIN, ECU hardware and software numbers, original read, reading tool and read method. List every hardware modification and requested solution.
Can customers outside the UK upload files?
Yes. Compatible digital files can be assessed online for customers in Europe and supported countries worldwide. Delivery time and availability depend on the controller, request and quality of the original read.
Can I post an ECU from Europe or overseas?
Contact SGTM before shipping. Send module-label photographs first, then use insured tracked delivery and complete customs declarations accurately. Duties, import charges and prohibited-item rules remain the sender’s responsibility.
Are emissions and immobiliser services available everywhere?
Only for lawful applications and after technical and ownership checks. The customer is responsible for road-use, emissions, security, insurance and regulatory compliance in the destination country.
