Specialist construction machinery ECU remapping, diagnostic and software-programming enquiries for excavators, telehandlers, loaders and working plant. SG-Tronic Motorsport assesses selected JCB, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo Construction Equipment, Hitachi, CASE and other compatible platforms.

Machine-specific ECU assessment helps establish whether a fault is electrical, mechanical, software-related or connected to the aftertreatment system. We focus on supported ECU files, practical work cycles and documented service requirements rather than promising one calibration fits every machine.
Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 tuning enquiries, ECU programming, authorised immobiliser coding, online tuning files and aftertreatment fault diagnostics. Availability and suitability depend on the particular ECU, hardware and machine.
Suitable engine calibration for supported construction applications, assessed against operating conditions.
Individual projects for compatible machinery, requiring additional hardware and duty-cycle evaluation.
Replacement module coding, engine ECU software flashing and supported cloning services.
Investigate communication faults, limp mode, software issues and controller recovery feasibility.
Diagnostics for regeneration, NOx sensors, SCR dosing, EGR systems and emissions-related warnings.
Authorised immobiliser matching and CAN communication assessments for supported equipment.
Compatibility varies by engine ECU, machine generation and firmware. Provide a readable ECU sticker and complete machine details.
Machine model, serial, engine type and controller part number.
Warnings, DTCs, performance complaints and recent repairs.
Establish compatible ECU read/write or programming procedures.
Test communication, faults and programming within agreed limitations.
SG-Tronic Motorsport is based in Stourbridge near Birmingham, serving the West Midlands and accepting suitable UK enquiries by post and online. Workshop attendance, mobile visits and remote support are agreed according to the job, controller and location. Customers in Dudley, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Coventry and throughout the UK can request an individual quotation.
Emissions enquiries: DPF delete, EGR delete and AdBlue/SCR delete searches may relate to faults or proposed modifications. Road-going vehicles must retain required emissions compliance; machinery use is also subject to applicable rules. We prioritise diagnostics and lawful repair or restoration rather than unrestricted emissions defeat.
Selected JCB and other plant ECU types may be suitable after we confirm the engine controller and software version.
UK-wide postal ECU and tuning-file enquiries are welcome where controllers are eligible; physical machine attendance depends on location and arrangement.
Fault codes, engine condition and communications should be checked before deciding whether software work is appropriate.
Advanced configurations are assessed individually and may not be suitable for standard working machinery.
We assess SCR, DPF and EGR faults and discuss compliant repair paths. Off-road machinery is not automatically exempt from applicable emissions requirements.
Some ECUs can be cloned or reprogrammed, but security data, matching part numbers and read/write access must be checked first.
Send the machine registration or serial number, make, model, engine information, an ECU-label photo and any diagnostic trouble codes. We'll assess what service is appropriate before you commit.
